"We were first exposed to Competitive Timing at the Carroll College Cross-country Meet earlier in the season. After we saw how smoothly the race ran in Helena, we contacted Matthew to help with chip timing at the Frontier Conference Cross-Country Championship Meet here in Great Falls we were hosting. He was extremely helpful and professional before, during, and after our cross-country meet. We received quick and accurate results. We would definitely refer him to anyone interested in using chip timing at their race. We were also excited to support a local Montana-based company from Whitefish!"

Rachel Brewer

Assistant UGF Cross-Country Coach

“Competitive Timing provided accurate chip timing for our inaugural cross country team fundraiser race, and several athletes commented on the quick results. A smooth timing operation gave participants a big race feel in a small town experience.  Thanks for the awesome timing services!”

Richard Menicke

Columbia Falls XC Coach

“Competitive timing took care of the timing for me at the Herron Hustle and it made my job as Race Director incredibly easy.  It went so well -- we were all very impressed and very happy.  The runners especially loved the instant results.  Kudos to Competitive Timing -- super awesome job.”

Competitive Timing uses the same advanced radio frequency timing system as the Virgin London Marathon in combination with Finish Lynx photo and video equipment.  With these three combined systems, you are guaranteed accurate results that are approved by USATF, NCAA and IAAF.  Competitive Timing can help you with track & field events, cross country meets, open road events, fun runs, triathlons, nordic events and any other activity that requires accurate and fast results.

What we’ll need from you:

Click here to download Event Data spreadsheet. If you do not have a way to open or view the spreadsheet you can download the software free and legally by clicking here.
Fill out event data spreadsheet and email to matthew@runwhitefish.org
As you receive registrations, please add to Event Data spreadsheet and email at least weekly. If you have added more than 25 participants since last update, please email more frequently. You may also just forward copies of the registrations to us if you don’t have time to enter them into the event data spreadsheet, but you might find the data more accessible for you in the future by using the supplied sheet.
Purchase bib numbers with pull tabs. We time all our races using more than one method. This ensures that your participants get the fastest most accurate results, every time.
Volunteers to assist with start/finish line duties. 1-4 is usually sufficient, but this depends on the size of your event.http://comptiming.runwhitefish.org/Resultshttp://comptiming.runwhitefish.org/Resultsshapeimage_1_link_0
